
Senior Clinical Test Evaluation Methodologist
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced researcher to join and co-lead our vibrant team as a senior clinical test evaluation methodologist.
This highly rewarding role involves exciting research that delivers real benefit to patients.
The successful candidate will co-lead a skilled multidisciplinary team to evaluate clinical tests and medical devices. The work helps test developers bring their products to market and assists NHS commissioners with their decision-making.
The appointed individual will maintain their status as an active researcher. This will include taking responsibility for research projects and generating opportunities to be a principal investigator or co-investigator on studies.
We are seeking an individual with a PhD in social care research, health research or a related discipline. The successful candidate will also have significant knowledge and experience in evaluating clinical tests.
The post holder will be employed by Newcastle University, an excellent research-intensive university. Newcastle University deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality and plays a leading role in economic, social and cultural development of the North East of England.
