Why is this work important?
This work can help to develop a list of the ideal characteristics for new diagnostics that could help to tackle the unmet needs. This is known as the “Target Product Profile”. This helps developers to shape the design of their diagnostics at an early stage.
What we do
We examine the unmet needs by engaging with our networks of healthcare professionals, local infrastructure and policymakers and:
- Devising, delivering and analysing surveys
- Formulating, conducting and evaluating detailed interviews
- Organising, facilitating and examining focus group discussions
- Produce a report of our findings
