Early-stage evidence
We have expertise in a variety of methods that can help developers when they are at an early stage in the development of their diagnostic. This work supports the development of the test by highlighting any improvements that could be made. This will ensure that the new test will be fit for purpose in the healthcare system. Our early stage evidence work also optimises the study design for future clinical studies. It helps to identify the most appropriate patient population, setting and clinical outcomes that should be examined.
Our work at this stage includes rapidly and critically appraising the evidence that a developer currently has on their diagnostic. This will highlight any gaps in the evidence and help the developer to produce an evidence generation strategy.
