One person’s journey into the Multiverse Lab
In a public blog Gary Gibson, a member of our insight panel for patients, public and carers, discusses his involvement in the exciting Multiverse Lab initiative.
The NIHR Newcastle In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative (NIHR Newcastle MIC) is thrilled to be part of a collaboration of nine organisations that commissioned Multiverse Lab.
This free innovative experience was created by the Newcastle based Unfolding Theatre to find out what matters to the public when it comes to their health.
Visitors are encouraged to have their say and record a message to answer:
“What is the health research breakthrough you hope to see in your lifetime?”
The lab opened its virtual doors in October 2020 and aims to collect the views of 2,000 people over the coming months.
Gary Gibson, a member of our insight panel for patients, public and carers, has been a great supporter of this work since he attended one of the first focus groups and discussed the initial idea. Recently he wrote a blog about his involvement in the Multiverse Lab.
