
Newcastle Health Innovation Partners
Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) is one of only eight Academic Health Science Centres (AHSC) in the UK.
NHIP aim to become the most integrated and innovative Academic Health Science Partnership in the world, working to discover, develop and deliver new solutions to improve health and support economic growth in the North East and North Cumbria.
NHIP brings together partners to deliver excellence in research, health education and patient care. It is composed of five key partners:
- Newcastle University
- Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust
- Newcastle City Council
- Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria
